My journey started with aesthetic medicine in 2007 trying to find another venue to complement and add to my general practice.

I joined the very experienced team at Laser Skin Care and working under the guidance of two of Perth’s leading dermatologists was a great and crucial start . Unlike large numbers of aesthetic physicians, my passion is not just for facial rejuvenation using injectables but also extends to helping people with skin conditions like active acne, rosacea, sun damage, acne and surgical scarring & hormonal pigmentation.

With years of experience in women’s health and also mental health, I saw the close association between the inner and outer health and beauty. When we look good on the outside then we feel good on the inside and it promotes a healthy confidence and self esteem. Identifying this within my patients as well as family & friends who were suffering from acne & psoriasis empowered me as cosmetic physician to assist patients to identify & treat the issues to avoid them seeking unnecessary treatments & to assist with their inner peace.

I regularly attend cosmetics congress & conferences and have obtained certificates in dermatology and skin cancer to enable myself to provide holistic advice to my patients and clients.

I believe the best results in cosmetic & anti-ageing medicine are achieved by implementing a combination of various modalities. Only treating primary problem areas can cause secondary problem areas to become distracting & more noticeable. Cosmetic medicine is a vey complex marriage between art and science and shouldn’t be trusted to anyone other than a qualified cosmetic physician.
